About Kris, Founder of Cacao for Beings

Kris, founder of Cacao for Beings, photographed in nature near cacao trees, reflecting her connection to ceremonial cacao and its origins

Welcome to Cacao for Beings! I’m Kris, a yoga teacher, plant-based chef, and cacao-obsessed human with a deep passion for holistic living, sustainability, and sharing practices to re-establish connection with the natural world. My journey with ceremonial cacao began during my Yoga Teacher Training in Portugal, where cacao sparked a deeper connection with myself and the way I relate to life. What began as a personal ritual of nourishment and presence evolved to become the foundation of Cacao for Beings — an offering of cacao prepared with care, integrity, and deep respect for its origins.
